Students and staff from the Sheboygan Area School District have stepped up to give back to the community.
The United Way of Sheboygan County has shared that last week, more than 800 students and staff members from Sheboygan South High School spent a day completing service projects to help those in need.
These different service projects ranged from cleaning up their own campus to assembling 270 bags for the Sheboygan County Food Bank’s Food for Thought for Kids program and much more.
Out of appreciation for their Redwing volunteers, the United Way of Sheboygan County said, “This day is more than just getting the students out into the community; it reflects so many of our United Way core values: lifting up our community and caring for our neighbors, while instilling a lifelong heart for service in our youth.”
They finished by giving a big thank you to South High School and the Sheboygan Area School District, noting their leadership, teamwork, and commitment to helping others.
