The two weeks of declining gas prices in Eastern Wisconsin have ended with a bang.
Manitowoc County’s average price per gallon of regular unleaded fuel is now higher than it was at the start of the month.
As reported on the AAA Gas Prices website, Manitowoc County’s average rose 23 cents to $2.89, which is seven cents higher than in the first week of October.
Sheboygan County reported the biggest increase in the area with a 25-cent bump to $2.87, while the Calumet County average is up 18 cents to $2.85.
Outagamie County saw a twelve-cent jump to $2.77 while Brown County’s average is up 14 cents to $2.81 per gallon.
Kewaunee County motorists are also paying 12 cents more per gallon at the pump, with an average of $2.80, while Door County saw the smallest increase, jumping only six cents to $2.78.
The state average is also up, rising 13 cents to $2.80, while the national average is unchanged from last week at $3.06
