A family clinic in Sheboygan is expanding its services to offer healthcare to a broader group of people, primarily students.
Longfellow Elementary School is home to the Longfellow Family Clinic, a community-based health resource offered in partnership with Lakeshore Community Health Care.
Previously, the clinic provided primary medical care to Longfellow students and anyone living in their household.
However, the Sheboygan Area School District has shared that the clinic will be expanding its services to treat students and families from Jackson, Wilson, and Farnsworth Elementary Schools, along with Sheboygan South High School.
Medical services will be offered Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. to all those who qualify, regardless of income or insurance status.
The Longfellow Family Clinic offers vaccines, wellness exams, and annual exams, along with acute care for ailments including sore throats, pink eye, the common cold, and more.
In their announcement, SASD finished by saying, “We’re proud to offer community-based resources like this to help support the health and well-being of our students and their families. By working together, we can ensure that every child has the care they need to learn and thrive.”
