A Sheboygan woman who shot a gun in the air in Manitowoc will be pleading in her case.
In Manitowoc County Court last week, 41-year-old Amy Duerwaechter returned for a scheduling conference.
Judge Jerilyn Dietz scheduled her plea hearing for December 16th.
Duerwaechter is facing charges including 1st-degree recklessly endangering safety, two counts of intentionally pointing a firearm at a person, and disorderly conduct.
Manitowoc Police were called to the 1600 block of Galax Drive for a report of a woman who claimed that a man was trying to kill her.
The caller reported that a woman, later identified as Duerwaechter, had stolen weapons from someone.
After an investigation, police say that the 41-year-old was the one who fired a gun in the air and pointed it at a person who ran away, claiming that the person was coming to hurt her.
