A woman is facing criminal charges after reportedly hitting two children with her vehicle.
The incident took place in the village of Lisbon on Saturday evening.
Authorities say the crash happened around 6 p.m., when an 11-year-old boy and an 8-year-old girl riding a minibike were struck by the woman’s car.
Both children were taken to the hospital.
The driver was identified as Zuyelmar Barrios Alvarez.
She has been charged with hit-and-run and driving without a valid license.
