As the seasons begin to change, the Sheboygan County Warming Center is preparing to open its doors.
The official opening day of the 2025-2026 season for the warming center is scheduled for November 10th, and it will remain open daily through April.
The Warming Center is located at St. Luke United Methodist Church at 623 Ontario Avenue, with hours running from 6:30 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.
Each day, the center offers vulnerable fellow Sheboyganites a safe, warm, and welcoming space to spend the night.
Executive Director Liz Kroll has also shared that the Warming Center will not be able to operate without the help of volunteers or generous donations, and they welcome any help they can get.
Various volunteer opportunities are available in the center itself and at the Community Café, which offers free meals and coffee Monday through Saturday.
