Governor Scott Walker says he is running for a full term leading Wisconsin state government. The Republican issued a pledge to reporters Monday that he won’t leave office during his third term to take a position in President Donald Trump’s administration. Former Wisconsin Governor Tommy Thompson left office during his fourth term to become Secretary of Health and Human Services. Walker has said Thompson told him multiple times that his worst day as governor was better than his best day in the George W. Bush administration.
