Jurors from outside Chippewa County will be brought in to hear the case against the teenager accused of killing 10-year-old Lily Peters.
Investigators say Peters was murdered in Chippewa Falls on April 24th, 2022, and her body was found the next day.
The defendant, 17-year-old Carson Peters-Berger, was just 14 at the time of the crime.
His trial is scheduled to begin on November 2nd of next year.
