Manitowoc County is well represented in the latest state volleyball rankings.
The Big East Conference Champion Manitowoc Lutheran Lancers remain at number 4 in this week’s MaxPreps Division Three top 25 high school girls’ volleyball poll.
The Lancers recently capped off a perfect season in conference by winning all nine matches without dropping a single set, and will host a very good Valders team in the home and regular-season finale Thursday night.
It’s be senior night for the Lancers with the match scheduled to begin at 7:00 p.m.
Meanwhile, the 21-9 Vikings are just outside the top 25 in Division Three, with Brillion checking in at number 12, Kiel is 17th, and Oostburg is at number 25.
FRCC powerhouse Bay Port is ranked 17th in Division One, with Kimberly being the highest-ranked area team at 12 and West De Pere checking in at number 22.
Manitowoc Lincoln barely missed, cracking the top 25.
In Division Two, Xavier of Appleton is ranked 3rd, with Fox Valley Lutheran of Appleton ranked 5th. Luxemburg Casco is ranked sixth, and Howards Grove is 22nd.
Sheboygan Christian is #3 in Division Four, and Green Bay NEW Lutheran is ranked 17th in Division Five.
