A former gym teacher at Mishicot High School will have a motion hearing in his child sexual assault case.
Although not in person, the case for 37-year-old Ryan Schroeder was revisited to determine when the hearing should take place.
Judge Mark Rohrer scheduled it for January 9th.
Schroeder is facing 19 charges, including repeated sexual assault of the same child, 2nd-degree sexual assault of a child, and possession and ten counts of possession of child pornography, after the Manitowoc County Sheriff’s Office says he had sex with a student over 50 times.
Ten of those incidents were reported to have occurred at Mishicot High School.
He’s also facing two federal charges of Production of Child Pornography after images were allegedly found on his Snapchat account.
