NextEra Energy Nuclear Plant Selected for Safety Award

NextEra Energy Point Beach Nuclear Plant in Two Rivers has been selected to be honored with a Safety Award from the Wisconsin Safety Council, and the Department of Workforce Development. They are one of twelve companies throughout the state who will receive their award at this year’s 76th annual Wisconsin Safety and Health Conference today and tomorrow. The winners were chosen based on information they provided on their organization’s safety and health leadership, training and implementation programs and employee participation. Their applications also included information on their safety accomplishments and goals and were judged by an independent panel of 30 safety insurance and human resource professionals.
