A busy week in the City of Sheboygan will kick off with four governmental meetings today (October 13th).
First up will be the Board of Marina, Parks, and Forestry, who will meet in Council Chambers at 3:30 p.m. to discuss the Edgewater proposal overview for the upcoming renovation project at the marina.
Then, at 4:30 p.m., the Licensing, Hearings, and Public Safety Committee will meet, also in Council Chambers.
They will discuss purchasing new police cars before potential votes on various municipal code amendments.
Council Chambers will then be taken over by the Public Works Committee at 5:00 p.m., which will discuss the demolition of a city-owned property at 428 Wisconsin Avenue before reviewing the same Edgewater proposal overview.
Finishing up the night will be the Finance and Personnel Committee meeting at 6:00 p.m.
They will receive the City Attorney’s monthly report, execute engagement letters with Quarles & Brady LLP on multiple matters, and discuss the recently dismissed lawsuit filed by Sheboygan residents in opposition to the proposed Kohler golf course in the Black River community.
