There are a pair of meetings on the calendar for today (October 13th) in the City of Manitowoc.
The Manitowoc Public Utilities Commission will gather in the MPU Offices on South 8th Street at 4:00 p.m. Also at that meeting will be members of the Horizon Blend Pellets LLC Board.
Then, at 5:30 p.m., the Public Safety Committee will be in the Council Chambers, where they will give the public time to comment.
Then, after getting their usual monthly reports, the group will discuss a proposed mid-block crosswalk in the 1500 block of South 9th Street by the JFK Fieldhouse.
They will also review the signage at various intersections, and review resolutions to modify the fee schedules for the Building Inspection, Plumbing Plan Review, and the Commercial, Industrial, and Multi-Family Residential Building Plan Review for Major Alterations.
The group will close out the meeting by discussing the installation of traffic signs at the intersection of Columbus Street and South 9th Street.
