The City of Kiel is looking for its next city administrator.
The city has placed an ad looking for the next person to help run the city.
Dave Funkhouser took over the job in June 2024 after previously retiring from his role as police chief in 2022.
The next Kiel city administrator will be directed to carry out municipal services with the guidance of the mayor and city council and will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the city government.
They are also responsible for the preparation of the annual city budget and will serve as the Director of Public Works.
A qualified candidate should have an undergraduate degree in public administration, Finance, Human Resources, Management, Businesses Administration, or a related field.
The city is accepting applications until October 22nd at 4:00 p.m.
