One person is in custody after a stabbing in the City of Sheboygan.
The Sheboygan Police Department was called to the 1500 block of North Avenue on Saturday at approximately 1:00 a.m. on a report of a disturbance.
The caller made officers aware that the altercation involved two parties known to each other.
Upon arrival, police located a 20-year-old male who had been stabbed.
The victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment, but was required to be transferred to a medical facility outside of Sheboygan for further attention.
At last word, the 20-year-old is expected to survive.
On scene, numerous arrests were made; however, one 20-year-old Sheboygan man has had a charge of First-Degree Recklessly Endangering Safety referred to the Sheboygan County District Attorney’s Office.
At this time, the suspect remains in the Sheboygan County Jail, and the investigation into the stabbing remains ongoing.
