The Humane Society of Sheboygan County has added two more members to its recently introduced fan club.
The Humane Society has shared that the two young animal lovers, dubbed the Lemonade Stand Heroes, were welcomed to the club after charitable giving and fundraising to help the county’s most vulnerable animals.
The two girls hosted a lemonade stand, looking to raise funds for the Humane Society, and stopped by after to drop off their proceeds.
In total, the duo raised $220 through their lemonade stand and donated an additional supply of toys, food, and other items the animals desperately need.
When addressing the support they were shown, the Humane Society said, “We’re so grateful for their kindness and creativity, and we’re thrilled to welcome them as our newest members of the HSSC Fan Club…Thank you to these young animal lovers for reminding us that compassion starts early.”
