The City of Two Rivers has a new community development director.
City Manager Kyle Kordell explained that Jeff Sachse will head the department starting on Monday, October 13th.
Sachse has more than two decades of experience in economic development, workforce strategy, and community leadership across Wisconsin.
He is also the founder of Rawley Point Economic Advising.
This Manitowoc-based consulting firm has partnered with local governments, utilities, tribal communities, and universities to provide economic analysis and strategic support.
The new community development director has also presented at hundreds of events across the state, contributed to a major redevelopment initiative, and currently serves as the Past President of both the University Economic Development Association and the Wisconsin Action Committee.
The area native also served as a core member of the Friends of Two Rivers Snowfest since its founding in 2018.
Kordell says of Sachse, “Jeff’s extensive experience in economic and community development, combined with his strong local ties, will be a tremendous asset to Two Rivers.”
