The summer farmers market season is beginning to wind down in Downtown Sheboygan.
The Sheboygan County Interfaith Organization (SCIO) Farmers Market, held every Wednesday and Saturday in Fountain Park, will close for the season on October 29th.
This means there will only be six more opportunities to enjoy the farmers’ market in support of local farmers and vendors.
The market offers patrons the opportunity to purchase fresh produce and flowers, locally made cheese, and countless other crafts made by vendors who live within 100 miles of Fountain Park.
However, once the summer farmers market comes to a close at the end of the month, the SCIO Winter Farmers Market will kick off on November 1st.
The winter farmers’ market will be held on the first and third Saturday of each month through April.
It will take place inside Lucas Hall within the First Congregational Church on Bluff Avenue in Sheboygan from 9:00 a.m. to noon.
