The US Cellular store in Two Rivers had to move just two blocks away to continue serving its customers.
A ribbon-cutting ceremony was held yesterday (October 7th) at the cell phone provider’s new location on Washington Street, although it remains on the same street as before.
Store Manager Colt Peterson explains to Seehafernews.com that the old store was located attached to the closed Family Video building.
However, he was notified by the city that the lease for the US Cellular store had been broken due to plans to build a new Taco Bell.
Thankfully, it was well before the city council voted to approve demolition and building of the new restaurant.
Peterson also credited a lot of the transition help to his employees in getting the new store up and running. He also said to us that he wanted to stay within the community in downtown.
The US Cellular store manager says they sponsored concerts to promote awareness about the move.
He says the new store has turned out better than he hoped for, and the business community has been supportive since the move.
He finished saying that in the story, he can not only guarantee a good customer experience for a day, but rather for a decade to come.
The store is open from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, and from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Saturday.
