Two people from Appleton have been arrested on drug trafficking charges in Dodge County.
Members of the Dodge County Sheriff’s Office Drug Task Force made a traffic stop late last month in the 200 block of Church Street in the Village of Lomira.
While making contact with the two occupants of the vehicle, K9 Bak was deployed, who alerted authorities to the presence of illicit drugs.
After the positive alert, the vehicle was searched, and a significant amount of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia was uncovered.
As a result, the driver, 41-year-old Michael Kreisle, and the passenger, 38-year-old Stephanie Neuser, both Appleton residents, were arrested.
Each of the suspects is being held in the Dodge County Jail on $10,000 cash bonds. Kreisle and Neuser have been charged with Possession with the Intent to Deliver Methamphetamine and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, while Neuser is facing an additional Felony Bail Jumping charge.
Both Appleton residents will have their preliminary hearings in court later this week.
Both individuals have lengthy criminal histories, including Neuser, who was previously convicted of Possession of Methamphetamine in Manitowoc County earlier this year.
