Manitowoc’s memorial in honor of the 32nd Infantry Division was recently vandalized.
Manitowoc Police Captain Matt Wallander tells SeehaferNews.com that several individuals went to the memorial at Red Arrow Park on Monday (October 6th), and removed memorial bricks from the ground.
They then smashed the bricks on the concrete pad surrounding the memorial and flag display.
Captain Wallander noted, “Our police department is looking for information on the suspects of this inexcusable criminal act, so they can be held accountable for their actions.”
The Red Arrow memorial was recently completed after years of work by the Friends of Red Arrow.
Anyone with any information on the vandalism is encouraged to contact the Manitowoc Police Department at 920-686-6551 or Crime Stoppers at 920-683-4466.
