The 11th annual Bellin Women’s Half Marathon and eighth annual 5K is being called an amazing success.
The organization has reported that more than 1,000 people showed up on October 4th for the event, with 473 participants in the 13.1-mile half-marathon, 144 two-person relay teams, 422 in the 5K race, and 42 participating virtually.
Race Director Linda Maxwell said those in attendance always “bring positivity, companionship, and amazing tenacity to this unique-to-our-region female-focused event.”
The event also welcomed the inclusion of nine teams from myTEAM TRIUMPH, an organization that pairs challenged athletes with able-bodied individuals for an all-encompassing race experience.
Alongside hundreds from Northeast Wisconsin, participants from Michigan, Minnesota, Illinois, Ohio, Tennessee, Iowa, Virginia, and Arizona added to the diversity of the event.
The 12th Annual Bellin Women’s Half Marathon is scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 3rd, 2026.
