The Sheboygan Police Department is looking to raise money while competing against other area law enforcement agencies.
The department has shared that they are taking part in the Police Lights of Christmas’ 3rd annual Charity Photo COPetition.
This year’s theme is awkward family photos, and Sheboygan residents can cast their votes in favor of their hometown police department.
Votes can be cast online, and each vote cast serves as a $1 donation to the department.
Every dollar raised through the photo contest will go directly back to the Sheboygan Police Department in the form of gift cards that will be given out to residents in need.
Other area agencies competing include Oshkosh, Fond du Lac, Menasha, and Appleton Police Departments, with Pulaski ranking first with nearly $2,000 in donations.
Those who would like to view Sheboygan’s photos or cast a vote in the COPetition can do so by visiting the Sheboygan Police Department Facebook page.
Currently, Sheboygan PD is in 6th place with over $300 raised.
