A child has died after an ATV accident in Brown County.
FOX11 reports that the Brown County Sheriff’s Office was called to an incident in the town of Glenmore around 11:00 a.m. on Friday (October 3rd).
The unidentified child is said to have been riding as a passenger on an ATV operated by an adult.
While few details about the incident are available, the child sustained serious injuries while riding on the ATV.
Upon arrival of emergency personnel, the child would be transported to a hospital for treatment; however, at approximately 4:00 p.m. that same day, they would be pronounced dead.
At this time, the names of those involved are not being released.
The fatal ATV incident remains under investigation by the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources, the Brown County Sheriff’s Office, and the Sheriff’s Office’s Crash Reconstruction Unit.
