A local non-profit is teaming up with a Manitowoc brewery to help raise money for a young girl battling cancer.
Craft Creek Brewing will be hosting its 4th annual Hoods and Hops Classic Car Event on Sunday (October 5th) in partnership with The Harper Group, an organization focused on helping families facing medically induced financial strain.
Money raised at the event will go towards helping the family of 4-year-old Cammille, who was diagnosed with B-Cell Acute Leukemia at just 2 and a half years old.
In her short lifetime, Camille has undergone two bone marrow aspirates, eleven platelet transfusions, eight blood transfusions, 25 lumbar punctures, three IFF infusions, and a ten-month hospital stay.
The Harper Group also noted, “Her treatment plan is not yet complete, but she continues to show just how strong she is!”
Representatives from The Harper Group will be at the event, manning a brat fry station starting at 11:30 a.m.
The event will be held at Craft Creek Brewing, located at 220 North 9th Street in Manitowoc.
