
Nominations are now open for an annual awards event hosted by the Chamber of Manitowoc County.
The Chamber is taking applications for businesses, organizations, projects, or individuals for the Awards of Distinction, which take place on Thursday, February 12th, 2026, at the Capitol Civic Center.
As always, there are eight categories, including the Athena Award, as well as awards for Non-Profit of the Year, Small, Medium, and Large Businesses of the Year, and the Joseph P. Schmitt “Speak Up” Award.
The Athena Award will recognize a professional for their work in assisting women in their attainment of professional and leadership skills, while the “Speak Up” recognizes someone who has made exceptional contributions to the quality of life for citizens of Manitowoc County.
