
The WIAA Girls Golf Tournament begins today with regional competition throughout the state of Wisconsin.
In Division One, Manitowoc Lincoln competes at Rolling Meadows in Fond Du Lac in a field that’s comprised of Sheboygan North/ South/Oostburg, Plymouth, Fond Du Lac, Oshkosh North, Oshkosh West, Cedarburg, Beaver Dam, Slinger and West Bend West/East and Green Bay Preble hosts a field consisting of Bay Port, De Pere, West De Pere, Green Bay Preble, East, Southwest and West, Notre Dame and Ashwaubenon and Pulaski.
The top four teams plus the top four individuals from non-qualifying teams qualify for sectionals next week.
In Division Two, Little Chute hosts a regional at the Mid Vallee Golf Course in De Pere.
The field consists of Kiel, Denmark, Wrightstown, and St. Mary Catholic, while at Northbrook in Luxemburg, the Spartans of Luxemburg Casco entertain a field that includes Sturgeon Bay, Oconto, Oconto Falls, Freedom, and Seymour.
The top three teams plus the top three individuals from non-qualifying teams move on to sectionals next week.
All meets tee off at 9:00 this morning.
