
There are four meetings slated to kick off the month of October in the City of Manitowoc.
Up first, the Manitowoc Public Utilities Commission will meet with the Horizon Blends Pellets LLC Board of Directors in the MPU Offices on South 8th Street at 8:30 this morning.
Then, at 1:00 p.m., the Brownfields Advisory Committee will gather in the 2nd Floor Conference Room in City Hall.
They will discuss cleanup projects in the River Point District and the former Mirro site, before getting an update on an EPA Community-Wide Assessment Grant.
They will also look over some other EPA cleanup grants and WEDC opportunities.
At 4:00 p.m., the Rahr-West Art Museum Board of Directors will gather in the Museum, where the public will be given time to voice input.
The group will discuss membership, marketing, and the East Lawn project.
Closing out the day will be the Public Infrastructure Committee, which will be in the Council Chambers at 5:30 p.m.
They will look over the proposed reconstruction of Michigan Avenue between North 13th and 18th Streets before discussing an ordinance to amend the Winter Parking and Snow Emergency rules.
