Weekly maintenance is causing closures on Manitowoc County roads.
The Wisconsin Department of Transportation has announced that Interstate 43 will be closed in multiple areas this week while crews conduct scheduled maintenance.
Crews will be painting a bridge girder on the north and southbound lanes of I-43 at Hidden Valley Road today (October 1st) and tomorrow (October 2nd).
Painting is scheduled to end tomorrow at 2:00 p.m., and a lane closure will be in place until work is completed.
I-43 southbound will also experience a lane closure at County Road F until tomorrow at 3:00 p.m.
Additionally, pavement repairs will take place today on the northbound I-43 to the Highway 151 ramp.
This work will close the ramp until work is completed at approximately 3:00 p.m. today.
All maintenance operations and related traffic impacts in Manitowoc County are weather-dependent and subject to change in the event of inclement weather.
