
Drugs and guns have been recovered by police in Green Bay following a shots fired incident.
The Green Bay Police Department was called to the 1100 block of Stuart Street yesterday (September 30th) around 12:15 a.m. on multiple reports of gunshots being heard in the area.
Officers arrived on scene and found evidence that shots had been fired in the area and in the area of the 200 block of Roosevelt Street, where bullet holes were found in two vehicles.
Further investigations found a firearm in a vehicle nearby, registered to a convicted felon in the driveway of a neighboring home.
Green Bay PD obtained a search warrant for the home where drugs and additional firearms were found.
As a result, a 23-year-old Green Bay man was arrested and charged with Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon, while a 22-year-old Green Bay woman was taken into custody for Maintaining a Drug Trafficking Place.
However, it is unknown if either individual is linked to the initial shots fired incident.
Green Bay Officers were assisted on the scene by the SWAT, Crisis Negotiation, and Neighborhood Response Teams and forensics personnel.
