Kiel residents will soon have the chance to give input on an upcoming road project in the City.
The Wisconsin Department of Transportation will be holding a public involvement meeting (PIM) to show proposed improvements on Highway 32 tomorrow (October 1st) at 5:00 p.m.
The meeting will be held at the Kiel Community Center and will discuss the project that is planned on 32 between State Highway 67 and County Road AA.
Proposed items included in the project will be a new roundabout, a bridge replacement, and full pavement replacement on various stretches of the roadway.
The PIM will begin as a presentation from the project team before moving into an open-house format, allowing residents to give feedback, ask questions, and give recommendations.
Currently, the project is scheduled to begin in 2029 and address safety concerns, poor pavement conditions, and ride quality.
