Two Organizations in the Sheboygan area are partnering to educate parents on compassion.
The Above and Beyond Children’s Museum and Rogers Behavioral Health are coming together to offer the four-week Compassion Series beginning next week.
The series will start on October 8th and run on each of the three following Thursdays in October.
The Compassion Series is designed to support both parents and caregivers and educate them on the importance of maintaining compassionate interactions with their children.
Each session will run from 4:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., beginning with an optional family dinner.
Then, from 5:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., adults will go through a guided caregiver session with Rogers Behavioral Health, while kids 2 through 8 will participate in mindful play with the Above and Beyond Education Team.
Registration is required to participate, and space is limited.
