A new bill to legalize medical marijuana in Wisconsin has been introduced by three Republican lawmakers.
Senator Patrick Testin, Senate President Mary Felzkowski, and Representative Patrick Snyder unveiled the proposal on Monday.
Under the bill, patients would need a medical diagnosis and must register with a new state-run program to gain access.
However, smoking the drug would not be allowed.
A similar effort failed last year due to a lack of support in the state Senate.
