A man who was seriously injured in a targeted assault near Camp Randall has passed away.
UW-Madison Police identified the victim as 62-year-old Mark Tiggelaar.
The suspect, Keith Jones, was arrested shortly after the September 20th attack.
He is already facing charges of aggravated battery, robbery, and probation violations.
Police say they are now referring a first-degree intentional homicide charge to the district attorney.
