A new lecture series is set to get underway this week in Sheboygan.
The Mead Public Library’s Great Decisions Lecture Series will begin tomorrow (September 30th), running from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. in the Rocca Meeting Room.
Tomorrow’s lecture will be entitled A.I. and American National Security and will be led by UW-Madison professor Dave Schroeder.
This discussion will delve into generative A.I., which is claimed to be an emerging technology that is expected to disrupt nearly every facet of society.
The four-week series will continue next Tuesday (October 7th) with After Gaza: American Policy in the Middle East with Beloit College professor Beth Dougherty.
The final two lectures will be American Foreign Policy at a Crossroads, followed by U.S. Changing Leadership of the World Economy.
Each of the Great Decisions lectures will be free of charge, and anyone interested in participating is encouraged to attend.
