A UW school and a Sheboygan County-based mental health service have partnered up to educate about addiction recovery.
The University of Wisconsin-Green Bay and Mental Health America Lakeshore have teamed up to offer the new Addiction Recovery Certificate Program.
This program will allow participants to gain skills to make a difference through the exploration of the complexities that come with addiction.
This includes the psychological, social, and biological factors that influence addiction and relapse.
It will take evidence-based and interactive activities, case studies, and expert insights to foster practical skills.
In total, it will include 12 training programs led by various professors at UW-GB. To participate in the Addiction Recovery Certificate Program, it will cost $49, and it will be 100% online and self-paced.
