A Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources employee lost his life on Tuesday while working outdoors in Kewaskum.
According to the Washington County Sheriff’s Office, the man was reported missing that evening.
His vehicle was later located in Fond du Lac County.
His body was discovered in a wooded area around 7:40 p.m. the same day.
Investigators confirmed that a lightning strike had occurred in the area at approximately 10:15 a.m.
