A man is dead in Sheboygan Falls after being the victim of a drive-by shooting.
The Sheboygan Falls Police Department says they were called to the 600 block of Monroe Street yesterday (September 24th) just after midnight for an individual suffering from a gunshot wound.
When officers arrived, they found the male victim had suffered a fatal injury and began life-saving measures.
However, the man would succumb to his injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The preliminary investigation revealed that the person was shot by an unknown individual driving a vehicle, and the motive of the shooting is unclear.
The suspect vehicle is described as a small, dark-colored SUV, but the make and model were not provided.
Sheboygan Falls Police Chief Aaron J. Wigen advises that, to maintain the integrity of the investigation, a limited number of details will be released.
No suspect has been taken into custody as police continue to investigate the incident actively.
