
After three weeks of declines, the roller coaster that is the Eastern Wisconsin gas prices is back on the upward trajectory.
Manitowoc County’s average price per gallon of regular unleaded fuel was reported to be $2.89 this morning on the AAA Gas Prices website, which is up eight cents from this time last week.
Sheboygan County saw a modest bump of one penny to $2.83, while Calumet County saw the biggest change, an increase of nine cents to $2.91 per gallon.
Outagamie County’s average remained unchanged at $2.78, leaving that area with the least expensive fuel in the area, while Brown County’s average is up three cents to $2.85.
Kewaunee County reported a six-cent bump to $2.89, while Door County once again has the most expensive fuel in the area after an eight-cent increase leaves its average at $2.96 per gallon.
The state and national averages went the other direction.
The state average is one cent cheaper this week, coming in at $2.87m, while the national average of $3.16 is four cents down from last week.
