Children in the Sheboygan community will have the chance to step into the role of a veterinarian after an upcoming ribbon-cutting.
Above and Beyond Children’s Museum has shared that they will be hosting the ribbon cutting and grand opening for their new Share and Care Vet Clinic exhibit on Saturday, September 27th, from 9:00 a.m. to noon.
The exhibit itself is intended to help children build compassionate caregiving and social-emotion skills through play.
At Saturday’s event, there will also be local veterinarians on hand thanks to the Humane Society of Sheboygan County, sensory play experiences, a service dog meet and greet courtesy of Pawtism, hands-on art-making opportunities, and much more.
Admission to the ribbon-cutting ceremony and day of play will cost $6.00 for museum members and $12.00 for non-members.
