Turkey wraps sold nationwide are subject to a public health alert due to a possible Listeria contamination.
The United States Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) has issued an alert for 10-ounce Trader Joe’s branded ready-to-eat Turkey Gobbler wraps with a best-by date of September 16th, 2025.
The move to issue a public health alert rather than a full recall comes as the products in question are no longer available for purchase.
While no cases of Listeria have been linked to the consumption of the wraps, equipment in the facilities where they were produced tested positive for the ailment.
These products were shipped and sold within Wisconsin and nationwide.
Anyone in possession of the possibly Listeria-contaminated turkey wraps is advised not to consume them but throw them out or return them to the place of purchase.
