For the third consecutive week, gas prices in Eastern Wisconsin are on the downturn.
Manitowoc County’s average price per gallon of regular unleaded fuel came in at $2.81 this morning on the AAA Gas Prices website, which is ten cents less expensive than this time last week.
That is also the biggest drop in the area this week.
Sheboygan County reported a six-cent dip to $2.82, the same price reported in Calumet County, which is down four cents from last week.
Outagamie County also saw a four-cent per gallon decline to an average of $2.78, the least expensive fuel in the area, while Brown County’s seven-cent dip leaves its average at $2.82.
Kewaunee and Door Counties each saw six-cent drops to $2.83 and $2.88 per gallon, respectively.
The state average is down a nickel to $2.88, while the national average actually rose a penny to $3.20.
