
Eight cross country teams converged on Lincoln Park over the weekend for the Roncalli Schmitt/Schneider Cross Country Invitational.
On the girls side, Pulaski earned the top spot as a team with 36 points, while Luxemburg-Casco was second with 67 points.
Valders, Manitowoc Lutheran, and Two Rivers/Roncalli rounded out the top five, followed by Howards Grove, St. Mary’s Springs, and Kewaunee.
Pulaski also had two of the top three runners, with Maggie Gerth and Emerson Gabry finishing 1st and 3rd, sandwiching Luxemburg-Casco’s Claire DuChateau.
Allie Galagher of Two Rivers was 4th, followed twelve seconds later by Valders’ Paige Backus, while Manitowoc Lutheran’s top runner was Adriel Barthel, who came in 14th.
Luxemburg-Casco dominated the boys’ race with a minuscule 28 points, followed by Pulaski and St. Mary’s Springs.
Valders and Manitowoc Lutheran rounded out the top five, followed by Two Rivers/Roncalli, Howards Grove, and Random Lake.
Roncalli’s Elliot Onesti was the top runner, finishing almost 30 seconds ahead of runner-up Arden Gillen of Pulaski.
Valders’ fastest finisher was Kolten Schisel, while Manitowoc Lutheran’s Maxwell Ciha was 13th, and Two Rivers’ Dominick Springstube was 18th.
