Some industrial equipment caught fire over the weekend in Green Bay.
WBAY reports that the Green Bay Metro Fire Department was called to the 600 block of Liberty Street for a fire alarm just before 4:45 p.m. on Saturday (September 13th).
Once on the scene, firefighters found black smoke emanating from the roof of the building where the industrial equipment was located and called for additional units.
Fire crews entered the building and found that a spark from the equipment started the fire, which had spread to the roof and walls of the building.
The fire was brought under control in about 15 minutes, but the damage to the building is estimated at around $30,000.
The Green Bay Metro Fire Department reported that 30 firefighters and multiple vehicles were dispatched to the scene to assist in extinguishing the fire.
