Missy Hughes, CEO and Secretary of the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation, has announced her resignation.
She was appointed by Governor Tony Evers in 2019.
Hughes has overseen initiatives leading to over $8 million in business investments and the creation or retention of more than 45,000 jobs across Wisconsin.
Her departure is set for September 19, and the search for her replacement is underway.
