The verdict is in for the Appleton woman accused of stabbing and killing her boyfriend.
A jury found 40-year-old Samantha Krebs guilty of 1st Degree Intentional Homicide yesterday after deliberating for over four hours.
FOX11 reports that Krebs has repeatedly stated that she is innocent and that the victim stabbed himself.
However, a witness reportedly told police that they arrived at the apartment, and Krebs told them, “Just tell the police he stabbed himself.”
When interviewed by police, Krebs reportedly gave conflicting reports, including that she found out about his death through the newspaper before changing her story to say she watched it happen.
Krebs is due back in court for sentencing on November 25th, where she will face a mandatory life sentence.
