
There’s a busy slate of high school sports around the area today.
Starting with boys soccer, Manitowoc Lincoln heads to Menasha to play the Bluejays in an FRCC match.
The Shipbuilders are hungry for their first win of the season after falling to Notre Dame Tuesday night.
Other matches include Roncalli hosting Cedar Grove-Belgium, Kiel hosts Oostburg, New Holstein/Brillion hosts Howards Grove/Elkhart Lake/Glenbeulah in New Holstein, Sheboygan Christian/ Lutheran is at Kohler, Sheboygan Falls hosts St. Mary Catholic, Random Lake/Ozaukee entertains Campbellsport, and Algoma gets on a bus to play at Kewaunee.
Elsewhere, Green Bay Preble visits Wausau West, Bay Port hosts D.C. Everest, Pulaski ventures to Marshfield, Green Bay NEW Lutheran is home for Sturgeon Bay, and Gibraltar/Sevastopol is home for the Peshtigo Bulldogs.
On area tennis courts, Manitowoc Lincoln looks to extend their FRCC dual winning streak to three this afternoon as they travel to Green Bay to play the Notre Dame Academy Tritons.
The Ships have defeated Green Bay Southwest and Green Bay Preble in their previous two matches as the senior doubles tandem of Taylor Peterson and Jordin Popp looks to remain undefeated.
Elsewhere, the co-op of Roncalli/Two Rivers hosts Sheboygan Falls in Two Rivers, with matches also scheduled to begin at 4 p.m.
Also, the 2025 FRCC varsity golf meet is today at Thornberry Creek Golf Course in Oneida.
A very young Manitowoc Lincoln squad under Head Coach Chris Grodek is finding its way and hanging in there against much more experienced players in its initial year of competition.
Also in girls’ golf, Kiel has a non-conference dual against Denmark at Wander Springs.
Lastly, Manitowoc Lincoln will host Notre Dame Academy and Shawano Community in a triple dual girls’ swim meet at JFK, and Kiel hosts the tri-op of Chilton/Valders/Brillion.
