A man from Neenah has been federally indicted in a child pornography case.
The U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of Wisconsin announced yesterday (September 10th) that 26-year-old Jeffery J Haskell has received a two-count indictment for using a minor to produce child pornography.
The indictment states that on or around January 11th earlier this year, and again on January 24th, Haskell “knowingly employed, used, persuaded, induced, enticed, and coerced” children for the purpose of creating a visual depiction of the minors engaging in sexually explicit conduct.
If convicted of either of these federal child pornography charges, the 26-year-old faces 15 to 30 years in prison.
In addition to the two federal counts, Haskell is facing 11 felony charges in Winnebago County, including ten counts of Possession of Child Pornography and one count of Child Sexual Exploitation for incidents that took place between May of 2024 and March of this year.
Currently, Haskell is in the process of undergoing a competency exam in his Winnebago County case and will return to court on November 24th for further proceedings.
