Work has gotten underway in Sheboygan for a student-built house.
The Sheboygan Area School District held a groundbreaking event yesterday (September 9th) for the 2025 Project House.
The Project House will be constructed by students from both Sheboygan North and South High Schools taking the House Construction course, and is located in the Stonebrook Crossing subdivision on the City’s southside.
This house marks the 28th such house built by students from the district and will also be the fifth in the Stonebrook Crossing subdivision.
Each house built is done with the guidance of construction workers, and is built from the ground up, from laying the foundation to the final aesthetic touches.
Once the student-built home is completed at the end of the school year, it will be put up for sale.
All proceeds will be put towards next year’s Project House.
