Milwaukee County Executive David Crowley has officially entered the race for Wisconsin governor.
Crowley previously made history in 2020 as the county’s first black and youngest executive.
He had been considering a run since Governor Tony Evers announced he would not seek re-election.
He joins Lieutenant Governor Sara Rodriguez and union worker Ryan Strnad as Democratic candidates.
Republicans Bill Berrien and Josh Schoemann are also running.
